Welcome to our agency, the Agency for Procurement and Asset Disposal of Oromia, which has been established since 2004 and has been carrying out significant activities, expanding its structure, and regularly updating its guidelines. In this manner, in 2005, it began actual operations with the procurement of similar items worth 945 million birr, and the procurement of one office was conducted for over 110 million birr. By 2017, it was able to improve its operations and performance, achieving procurement of similar items for one office worth over 12 billion birr. Through this work, the economic benefit recorded by 2017 was over 3 billion birr. On the other hand, converting external service assets into cash has been implemented to generate economic benefits for the region. According to the guidelines for this operation, in 2005, the revenue from sales was 1,093,842 million birr, and by improving operations in this area, it was able to generate over 553 million birr in revenue by 2017, contributing to the region's economic benefit.
